Founder/Director of AMAS

Jane Grant A.C.M.A. is the founder/director of AMAS accounting, which was established in 2002.  Jane is a professionally qualified accountant and is a member of the Chartered institute of Management Accountants.

Born in the Edinburgh, Jane is married and has four children. She has gained over 20 years experience in Cost Accounting; Management Accounting; Business Restructuring; Financial Planning; Strategic Planning; Business Compliance and Tax Consulting.  Employed by Condie and Co., Chartered Accountants; FMC Corporation; Tandem Computers Inc., Digital Equipment Corporation; and Nacco Material Handling Limited.

Jane has provided financial consultation and advice, ranging from simple cost behavior analysis to business restructuring and the implementation of European strategic plans. She has supported small businesses entities and large multinational organizations, implementing and monitoring revised cost structures; strategic plans; with one man director owned companies to Multinational European Boards of directors.

Martin Shields C.A.

Martin Shields, C.A.,has worked for AMAS Accounting for over seven years. Martin is professionally qualified accountant and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

He is highly experienced in the core compliance work undertaken by AMAS Accounting.  Key areas of expertise VAT compliance; Record Keeping; Accountants Preparation; Capital Allowances and CIS.

He has provided this service to a wide range of business sectors including Retail; Haulage; Consultancy; Pharmacies; Public Houses; Food & Hospitality; Security; Engineering; Construction; Cleaning; Automotive; Travel and Manufacturing. Supporting, Sole traders, Patnerships and Limited Companies.

Mhairi Macaulay H.N.C.
Assistant Accountant

Mhairi Macauly, H.N.C. has worked for AMAS Accounting for over a year, and has an Higher National Certificate in Business administration.

She has gained experieince and oversees the administration of the practice. Her core areas of expertise are Payroll; Book keeping; VAT Compliance and Practice Management.
